While we're on SystemAdmin, what about Backup/Recovery? you're certainly better than Oracle, but who isn't?? Will Netezza be the next to be acquired? “Liberated” ??

However, the spin from Oracle is something about all their inventory being tied up supporting the hundreds of tests going on!!! Some things never change! While we don't sit around in a sweat-lodge contemplating the future of data processing, and you probably won't find me anywhere near the bridges in Nicaragua (and all those rumors to the contrary are just that!) - It is important to know that many people have sacrificed much to reach the ultimate goal of data liberation. Every time I lead a strike team to deliver the hostages, I have stark reminders directly before me that our work is not in vain. Yes, it is tough work, perhaps thankless work, but important and necessary - and we will not back down until the hostages are free! Power to the data!
